Turkish Property still hot in 2008
Whilst Brits back home suffer the effects of the global credit squeeze those seeking to buy property in Turkey are getting more than just sunshine.
According to Co-operative Travel Turkey is now more important than Spain as a holiday destination. Figures show that Turkish tourism is up by 20% on the same time last year.
Aswell as the beautiful scenery and sandy beaches, the price of property in Turkey and the low cost of living are attracting record numbers of foreign property buyers.
With increased levels of tourism comes an increase in the demand for holiday rental properties thus presenting Turkish property as a potentially lucrative investment opportunity.
Property in Bodrum is particularly hot this season but the real Turkish property gems for the discerning buyer can be found in Fethiye, particularly Dalaman, Gocek and Hisaronu.
