Calis high street is approximately 5km away from Fethiye town; here you will find a sea taxi that takes you to Fethiye town and back, the street of Calis high street is closed in the evening for traffic, there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops as well as small discos and hotels scattered along the beach front.
Calis has its own Bazaar (market) on Sundays; local farmers display their fresh produce and traders sell anything designer labelled clothes, watches, sun glasses to house hold goods. This market is very popular with tourists, locals and expats.
Transport: Dalaman airport is approximately 35 minutes, a frequent dolmus (local buses) service to Fethiye town as well as the sea taxi (boats) are available. Also plenty of taxi’s are available from Calis. |
