Easy Airport Transfer Options
There are many ways to get an airport transfer between Dalaman and the Fethiye area.
Travel time can be anything from an hour upwards, depending on where you are going and how you choose to get there.
If you have decided on a package holiday your transfer will be organised for you and included in the price.
Should you be travelling independently, and haven’t got a friend meeting you, there are three main ways of getting to your destination.
Taxi Transfer
The first, if budget is not a concern, is to jump into one of the taxis outside the airport, or to pre order one.
Shuttle Transfer
The second, and most popular, is to arrange a private or shared transfer with an airport transfer company. These are easy to book online and payment is usually made at an airport kiosk prior to you being directed to your waiting vehicle.
Bus Airport Transfer
The third, and cheapest, option is one used most often by frequent or local travellers. This is the choice of either the Muttaş or Havaş bus service.
The buses run frequently between the airport and Marmaris or Fethiye. They can be found outside the entrance of the airport. The times coincide with domestic flight arrivals throughout the year.
The other bus terminal is at the main otogar on the outskirts of Fethiye. There are many designated places along the route you can also flag the buses down. To find out departure times to the airport click here for Muttaş and here for Havaş .
You should allow around 90 minutes if you are travelling the whole route and the cost is currently 25tl, payable on the bus.
They are extremely reliable and a fraction of the cost of private transfers so, if you travel frequently, this could be worth considering.
