With 2017 slowly drawing to an end, our focus at Oceanwide Properties is turning to the new year and our plans for 2018. Thankfully 2017 turned out to be a good year, not only on the Turkish and Arab sales front, but also the numbers of enquiries from Russians and the British returned resulting in a healthy number of sales. We hope this to continue in the coming months.
2017 saw Oceanwide Properties celebrate 12 years in business. We are very thankful for our success and proud to be one of the longest established estate agents in Fethiye. We are constantly trying to keep up with the times so, following our new logo, website and company rebrand, we sat down and looked at what we could do to keep growing and expanding.
New Consultancy Based Staff.
Oceanwide Properties now runs a consultancy based sales team. With the real estate market in the area extremely buoyant, and many Turks and foreigners looking to purchase property in Fethiye, it made sense to recruit self-employed Sales Consultants capable of managing their own portfolios. This strategy has proved successful in the industry and allows consultants the freedom to find their own clients and properties.
Nezahat Guler has worked in the real estate industry in the area for many years, she became our first independent Sales Associate back in September. Many who know Oceanwide Properties will also know of Emre Ciftci who has worked with us and managed our Uzumlu office for the last three years. He recently joined Nezahat as our second Sales Associate. Both Nezahat and Emre are fully licensed and registered agents now taking on and managing their own portfolio of apartments and villas under the Oceanwide Properties name.
Cars Get A Facelift
To raise brand awareness we have recently given our cars a make-over. All our company vehicles now have bright, Oceanwide branding making them pretty hard to miss. If you spot us driving around, please do give us a wave and let us know what you think of the new design. We hope that the colourful blue, orange and red bands of our logo along with the photos of the agents on the side will stand out and attract a few more enquiries and vendor properties in the future.

We have a number of vacancies at the moment should anyone in the area be interested.
Sales Administrator. The lovely Sarah Onur Rasul is leaving us in January on maternity leave. Sarah has been with us for the last two years and will be missed greatly. We are seeking a motivated, organised and friendly Sales Administrator to take over from Sarah and join our team. The post will involve dealing with English speaking clients and vendors, attending viewings, writing up property descriptions, keeping the website and portals up to date and managing email correspondence. The candidate will speak and write fluent English and ideally have a Kimlik (Turkish citizenship). We are struggling to find a suitable candidate with citizenship so we may entertain applying for a work permit should we find the right person. The post is initially for a year but may go permanent, it will be based at our Fethiye office overlooking the seafront promenade.
Sales Associates. As mentioned above, we now run a team of Independent Sales Consultants and we are looking for more. If you are a registered estate agent here in Turkey and looking to work alongside a well known and expanding company in the are, please contact us.
