Property values: Turkey real estate prices continue steady rise in 2012

Turkish property prices are weathering the global economic downturn well, new analyst figures show.

The latest property price index from analysts, REIDIN, reveals properties in Turkey are displaying sustained and steady value appreciation. As at February 2012, new-builds are averaging a year-on-year rise in value of just over 10 per cent. Between January and February this year, existing property values climbed by 0.78 per cent.

Rental prices have also moved up by 0.70 per cent in Turkey overall, with rental properties in Antalya and Istanbul both displaying over a one per cent rise.
