Ocean Victory, Viktor Rashnikovs fancy seven story super yacht, sailed into Fethiye this morning and is currently moored and refueling in Fethiye harbour.
The beautiful white yacht, owned by Rashnikov the billionaire steel magnate, is the ninth largest super yacht in the world. It dwarfs Andrey Melnichenkos futuristic yacht ‘A’ that pulled alongside the exact same harbour stretch just a couple of weeks earlier.
Ocean Victory is a colossal 140 meters long and features six swimming pools, a movie theater, internal floatable dock for a 14 meter tender, a helicopter hanger, 300sqm spa and sleeps up to 26 lucky guests in 13 cabins. The yacht was built by Fincantieri in Italy and was delivered in 2014 having taken almost 4 years to build. It runs on a staff of up to 50 personnel.
We are unsure if the owner is actually on the yacht, but surely Fethiye playing host to two such prominent visitors within a matter of weeks suggests the Russians, and the rich and wealthy, are certainly happy to visit Turkish shores – hopefully more tourists will follow!
