We understand that many people are cautious when buying property in Turkey. There are the good and the bad in most industries. Although most unscrupulous agents and developers have gone, some do still exist.At Oceanwide Properties, we only represent apartments, villas and land that have passed a rigorous due diligence process. Title deeds (TAPU) and habitation are available to view on all the vendor homes we represent. We always advise our investors use the services of a lawyer to best protect their interests.

Our Turkey Property Inspection Trip Service.
Oceanwide Properties inspection trips usually take three to four days, and we will readily assist you in the required preparations. Our service covers:
Flight booking. Organised transfers to and from the local airport in Turkey. Accommodation booking (Bed & Breakfast basis) in a local hotel/apartment in Turkey. Custom guided area tour. Property viewings. Self-explore and discussion time. Access to local developers/architects, legal and financial advisers.
Your Costs: Flights and Accommodation*
*We do try to aid the funding of your inspection trip to Turkey. Should you find your perfect property through us and are ready to purchase while in Turkey, we will refund the costs of your flight (up to £300) and accommodation. (based on max. two adults sharing a room in hotel/apartment accommodation).
Before Booking a Property Inspection Trip.
We advise that you have sufficient funds in place to cover the purchase of a property before booking an inspection trip or coming to view a property in Turkey. The market is buoyant. What is on our books today may not be tomorrow and we would hate to see you leave disappointed!
Making Your Own Way to Turkey.
If making your own arrangements to visit Turkey, we will be happy to arrange appointments for you before departure. This is to ensure that we understand your exact requirements and can prepare your personalised itinerary before you arrive. Since 2005 we have helped clients sell and secure Turkish homes. Our sound mix of marketing and client support is devised to locate the ideal buyer. Oceanwide Properties, as part of our social responsibility, like to give something back to the local community.
Oceanwide Properties believe in giving back to the community. We help the local council in special needs cases and regularly contribute to charities in the local area.
FETHIYE COUNCIL. We have worked alongside Fethiye council on special projects helping families who are in need. Recently we supplied the furnishings and fittings for a village house that had been destroyed in a blast leaving a local family homeless (read the story here).
FETHIYE INTERNATIONAL GROUP. F.I.G launched in November 2003 and were the first international charity in Fethiye. The group was formed by a group of foreigners living in Turkey. They wanted to contribute to their adopted local community. F.I.G is set up under the umbrella of FETAV, a local Turkish charitable foundation. It has developed over the years into a permanent charity that raises money for the benefit of local children. F.I.G runs a charity shop in Fethiye where proceeds go towards the purchase of equipment for schools, providing bursaries for university students and support for medical bills in special cases. F.I.G is solely run on the support of volunteers, donations, fundraisers and sales from the shop. Oceanwide Properties are firm supporters of F.I.G’s work and have run fundraising events and talks to help profile their activities.
ANIMAL AID is a charity that has been running in the Fethiye area since 2008. Their mission is to help the many street animals in the area. The organisation is run by volunteers and funded by the money raised from local events and by charitable donations. They carry out wonderful work feeding, catching, spaying and neutering street animals. They help strays that have been injured or are unwell and limit the population in an attempt to keep numbers under control.
FETAV FETHIYE HAYVAN DOSTLARI (Animal Friends Charity) was set up in 2016. They are a government animal charity. Alongside work helping street animals, they are focused on educating the community on how to best treat domestic and working animals and wildlife. Oceanwide Properties often attend charitable fundraising events organised by the group. In April 2017 we opened our Uzumlu office to them during the Morel Mushroom Festival. Where they raised money for an animal education centre. Here they will teach school, community and social groups about animal welfare so future generations will grow up with a better understanding of how to treat animals.
